Family Promise June Host Week
Details
Living Water will be hosting Family Promise the week of June 9 - June 15. We will be scheduling a time for our volunteers to visit the facility and receive training prior to our host week.
On Sunday, we will provide each family with a box of groceries for them to prepare their breakfast and lunch each day. Donations of groceries or monetary donation are needed.
Each day will require 3 sets of volunteers.
Dinner volunteers will take dinner to the Family Promise facility at 600 Cincinnati Ave, Lebanon. We anticipate serving 15 - 20 people. The dinner volunteers will eat dinner with the guests and assist the guests with clean up after dinner. Dinner may be prepared at home and delivered to the facility, purchased from a local resturant, or prepared in the kitchen at the facility. Dinner is served at 5:00 pm.
Evening hosts arrive around 7 and spend the evening with the guests. The evening hosts can take activities like games or crafts, use the toys at the facility or go outside with the guests. The evening hosts are not babysitters, but may watch the children for short periods while their parents get prepared for the next day.
Overnight hosts arrive around 9 pm and spend the night in a private hotel room. Their job is to be available overnight should an emergency arise.
Please contact Trish Vulgamore at 937-441-6876 or tvmore@outlook.com for questions.
